Thanks for your perspective, my doctor recently put me on a crash diet of 800 calories a day and just having someone reflect how miserable of an experience it is has been a relief. I’m on week 2, I basically can’t watch tv without a character in it making dinner or something and driving me insane. The water weight part is very true, it makes you feel like it’s working but yeah I cannot recommend it to someone else. I supposedly have 4 more weeks to go of this, so… hahahaha
I think the 1000kcal deficit is for when you’re into the obesity range. I’ve heard you can only burn 31kcal/day/lb of fat from fat, so any bigger deficit is likely useless.

If anyone has trouble getting down cauliflower rice you can make your own chicken fried “rice” and use frozen mixed vegetables with chicken and maggi sauce but red it has to be a red cap. It’ll change your life trust me with some sriracha.

that pudding you made, i do something similar but use cocoa powder greek yogurt a dash of almond milk and a few packs of splenda and its pretty suitable as an alternative to chocolate pudding with a reeses like edge to it
I’m kinda confused I workout everyday and I try to stay at around 1,500 to 2,000 calories a day and I’m not loosing weight anymore I’ve loses about 80pounds in the last 2years what should I do now I’m 5’7 at 190 and 21 years old
Not eating at all yields a better result for most natural lifters > 5% Bodyfat. [This is assuming you’re not counting glycogen stored in muscle as muscle mass]
