Why low fat? I haven’t compared the low fat to whole containers of plain yogurt but I just associated it to skim milk and whole milk. Skim milk has less calories but has added sugar. I’m just wondering if the same is true for low fat yogurt. I’ve almost always gotten plain yogurt and added cinnamon, turmeric and honey or maple syrup but it was Whole not low.

Why would you buy low-fat junk full of sugar in the first place? Common misconception that fat makes you fat when it’s the sugar and carbohydrate creates the problems.

  8. Non fat or low fat foods have been processed. There are no cows that produce non fat milk. Fat is useful because it contains vitamins and it gives people the "full" feeling after eating. If i love to eat meat, whats my healthiest options?

  9. I’ve been getting vaalia French vanilla yogurt for a while now, but I’m trying to get healthier and lose weight. Is vaalia good for you or should i try something else ? There’s too many yogurt so I’m not sure wat to get that is healthy AND tastes good. I don’t want Greek yogurt cuz it is too sour .

  32. Make sure to get no-fat milk so that you won’t get none of the fat-soluble vitamins or omega 3s that are naturally occurring in the fat; instead, you will get the superior synthetic, cheapest, lowest quality fat-soluble vitamins because they are so much better. She also didn’t recommend organic and 100% grass-fed dairy because the milk from mass-produced, feedlot cows is much healthier for you.

  38. misinformed

  39. Low fat and non fat DO have added sugar. A ton of carbs. I’m an MD and admittedly NOT a nutritionist.
Are you an MD? Or just calling yourself a Doctor?

  40. Not for nothing, I haven’t refrigerated my yogurt for years now and have eaten it months after purchase. I do keep it in a cool place. I have a keifer, that I add store bought keifer and milk to, unrefrigerated for 5 years now. Don’t try this at home folks. Remember, there are Mexicans that can drink that water that will make you sick? Remember, everything she’s pushing has been, at some point, pasteurized?

  41. The healthiest yogurt is organic plain Greek yogurt from grass-fed and grass-finished cows.
