  1. What about Greek yogurt (plain)?

  2. Damian Damiano says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Pain yogurt is like 15 grams of fermented sugar so yeah you can without worries

  3. Jeamaicah Mohamad says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:12 pm

The main reason I started dieting was to get rid of cellulite, however the keto diet made it unbearable. That’s why I tried the Agoge diet and it worked great

Need to go extra mile to get organic goods – raw milk is illegal in my state, just like marihuana. I usually get both on the same trip. I use Luvele and makes great yoghurt, but I used to use just a large glass jar and it worked well too.

  8. Everyday Joe says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:18 pm

If the label says organic but 17 g of sugar at 3/4 cup serving. Can you just do a tablespoon per smoothie?

  9. Learn something new today – 24h yogurt – been making it wrong way all those years 🙂 My mom and grandma too … 🙂

I make my own curd every day as it is still easy to buy raw unpasteurised milk in Pakistan, though the are trying very hard for us to switch to packaged milk,I put it in a piece of cloth and let all the water drain, after which I get a creamy and tasty stuff which I eat by adding some salt to it,is this curd healthy enough in your opinion Dr. as I have no weight problems now I reduce it from 235lbs to 165lbs. by fasting for 13 to 14 hrs.each day and I am 6feet tall.

  11. What about Greek style yogurt

  12. Hey dr Berg.

  17. HotSizzleTV says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:34 pm

What about if you make your own yogurt in the insta pot ?

  18. Ralph Taylor says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:35 pm

In the UK I can buy Greek Yogurt that is Bio Live, GM and gluten free and with no added sugar. The one I eat has 4.9g of sugar per 100g and I usually get 5 portions from a 400g pot. So that works really well for me in staying under 20g of total carbs per day.

To make yougart i take organic milk boil it in a pot let it cool down so it is luke warm . Then i will take 2 tsp of plain yougart in a cup add a little bit of warm milk stir it a little and add that liquid back in the pot. Then take that milk and put it in a Tupperware and i will put it on vent overnight make sure not to move it. ( that is in winter)I will have a perfect yougart in the morning. In summer i will do the same except i will put the Tupperware in my garge or a warmer place and i will have a perfect yougart in 5 to 6 hours during the day. Or you could use yor oven as well in summer don’t turn it on.

  20. What if the milk is organic but heat treated? Good enough to make yoghurt?

  21. KAD10895 says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:39 pm

I was eating a full dairy yoghurt everyday with 16.65g of carbs in it. I think this was seriously kicking me out of ketosis each time, though outside of this I may only eat 6g of carbs.

  22. I like adding a squirt of liquid stevia to my yogurt, cinnamon (cause it’s so good for you), Himalayan salt (because it’s good for you), a splash of vanilla… then fold in nuts and coconut. I’ve never considered making my own yogurt since it seems like you have to have a chemist degree or something, but maybe I’ll go get some raw milk and give it a try.

  23. Lemonz1989 says: June 2nd, 2022 at 8:41 pm

It’s very easy if you have an Instant Pot. It takes care of all the steps. You can scald the milk (if you want), ferment it at "normal" temperature or at "low" temperature.

The "more" function scalds the milk, similar to ultra-pasturized milk.

"Normal" is usually used for dairy, and if you set it for 10 to 12 hours, it is really sour and pretty much carb free. I don’t see any effects on my blood sugar at all. I have type 1 diabetes, so follow my blood sugar closely. I love it like this. I just use a neutral, milk only yoghurt from the store as my starter. Two to three tablespoons is enough for a 2 liter batch.

"Less" function is mostly used for non-dairy yoghurts, and is usually fermented for around 24 hours. 🙂

There’s a great yogurt recipe on youtube how to make it in your insta pot using organic grass fed milk, whipping cream and a yogurt starter. It has 1.1 grams of carbs! Go to 2karazyketos YouTube and watch. It was easy and wow! What a yogurt! So versatile as well. Can use for dips, sub for sour cream. Amazing! High fat, high protein.

I started having homemade yogurt for breakfast, and nocturnal leg cramps that I have had for several months stopped. My doctor said it might be due to the calcium.

  46. BeeBee Tee says: June 2nd, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I eat yogurt (whole, plain) for the Calcium. I’m concerned that as a menopausal woman I won’t get enough Calcium otherwise, even eating Kale most days…I can only consume so much greens and tahini!
