"I am vegan, most of the vegans try to help animals instead of hurting them,i became vegan to hurt plants. We’re not the same"that one quote i remember.
The big dietary issue is "Processed food". Meat eaters eat more processed food due to fast food, however corporate food are now seeing they can earn extra profit by selling to vegans so now there are processed vegan foods (McDonald’s vegan burgers) so soon the dietary benefits will disappear
meat wasn’t responsible for the growth of our brains that are dependend on glucose, that we don’t really get from meat. Cooking was. Cooking is a way to make stuff more digestable for us and we could finally eat grains and roots, which stored a lot of glucose and enegry. Our brains are desperate for glucose, not for fat or protein. Its called the cooking ape hypotheses and is widly accepted in the science community. Unfortunatly you didn’t really portait this point right. You didn’t even mentioned that there were two seperate occurances in the evolution of humans that carved the road to our world dominance and the meat-eater hypothesis or Expensive Tissue Hypothesis (ETH) can at most explain one of those.
Real Talk
Some vegan people is annoying i tell them if you convince all species in this world cornivores or omnivores become vegan probably im become vegan too
If you can’t mind your own business i don’t like some people told me what to do because what every you eat humans will die when the time comes
The claim that Okinawans are or were primarily vegan is patently wrong. They’re a fishing culture that has been breeding pork imported from China for consumption since the 16th century, their staple cooking oil is lard, and they also consume some chicken and eggs.
The figure estimating 85% carbohydrate intake was based on WW2 famine conditions. While their pork consumption has always been limited (their prized pork is considered a luxury) and dairy consumption traditionally almost non-existent, their seafood consumption has always been in abundance outside of WW2 famine conditions. Okinawans are also serious alcoholics; many Japanese adopted their love of shochu thinking (probably incorrectly) that it was what gave Okinawans such a long life with people like Shigechiyo Izumi.
The Japanese Ministry of Health has conducted extensive studies of Okinawan lifestyles without any of this vegan propaganda. Common patterns are rigorous daily exercise (most Okinawans are farmers and fishermen), lower overall caloric intake, their extremely short height (most Okinawans are under 5 feet tall; the shortest people tend to live the longest), and positive attitudes.
But humans are not omnivores… humans are biologically designed herbivores…humans behave as omnivores …that’s why animal products are high in saturated fat and cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death
Veganism and Carnivore diets are two opposite ends of the spectrum. Throughout evolution, human diets have not been easy to categorize in a black and white manner. The historical fact is that most humans have been resourcefully omnivorous like bears and chimpanzees eating fruits, seeds, roots, meat, fish in order to survive.
Climate change, food scarcity, settled lifestyles, overpopulation, cultivation of plants and animals for food, development of organized religions etc led to strict dietary rules and rationing of available food. Some vegans with religious or moral restrictions might go to the extreme of starving themselves to save animals, while meat eaters with different beliefs may claim it to be their birthright to eat animal flesh! In order to cater to such extreme food preferences in a large percentage of the global population, society undergoes several changes such as megacorporations buying huge tracts of farmland, genetic engineering of food crops, large-scale factory farming of animals etc.
This kind of food fanaticism of extreme veganism versus extreme carnivorism also leads to environmental, economic, social and political problems. Scientific and statistical research indicates that human diet preferences when based only on physical needs and environmental availability is usually omnivorous and moderate. It only becomes strict when influenced by social, political and religious factors; besides economic ones like corporate advertising.
Nature is not a personal chef that caters to the food preferences of any particular human being. Human beings have to adapt to diverse environmental conditions based on their own needs and food cultivation in artificial conditions is just one form of successful adaptation, not something to be taken for granted as the natural order of things in the world!
those who are attacking everyone for their opinion, remember you have an opinion also. Those who understand PRINCIPLES your LOVED. Our bodies AREN’T meant to consume MEAT or MEAT PRODUCTS. It’s OBVIOUS human BIOLOGY. From our Teeth to, the MAIN PRINCIPLE, our ORGANS, our bodies are DESIGNED(keyword for all you "life just happened because" folks) to eat PLANTS. We are at OPTIMAL health on a Plant-based diet PERIOD. End of STORY.

2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Answer is no to everything what meat eaters ask lol
Me, a absolute omnivore.
Vegan is not about the diet. It’s about an advocacy of voicing out against animal cruelty although vegan people don’t seriously care about animals.
Just go vegan!(:
No because I enjoy meat and vegan substitutes just don’t do it for me.

Vegan "diet" is definitely unhealthy and plant-agriculture is destroying the climate so it is also unethical to eat plants….
