What is interesting is the American Heart Assoc is funded by the beef industry. Everyone should research the sponsors and funding of ALL organizations (diabetic etc ) before listening to their opinion. For me it is a conflict of interest. I REALLY wanted to be vegan forever, but it didn’t work for me. On the contrary, I was so sick. I ate a whole food plant based diet for almost 4 years and despite not having any sugar or processed foods, I was still so sick. 2020-2021 were the worse years of my life. Painful and unexplainable rashes and symptoms that would no go away and no one knew what I had. Needless to say, I hit rock bottom and decided to give carnivore diet a try after hearing a testimony of two sisters who were also vegan and had autoimmune disease and when they switched over to a carnivore diet they went into remission and there eczema disappeared. It was hard to believe, but I took the plunge and I’m glad I did. All my health issues disappeared within a month and I’ve never had skin issues again. I’m now low carb because I do think we should consume fruits/veggies as well. But I’ll never consume grains, legumes or leafy greens. They made me so sick !! 😕
