How about hearing from more than 1 source of knowledge. The guy who comments is obviously ultra biased and support in a very subtle way the dairy and meat industry. This is probably the worse video I have seen regarding vegan diet. It makes you believe that it is equally right to have a vegan or a meat diet but in fact, it endorses fully the tradition of continuing the slaughter of billions of animals in the name of "slightly" better gut and perpetrate the idea that we need to eat a "balanced" diet ( translated: that includes dairy and meat product). A brilliantly marketed video for the barbarian industry (i.e. dairy and meat).
No way I’d ever place such ridiculous stupid unnecessary restrictions on my life anyway.
Veganism is nothing more than a money making food fashion.
I hunt most of but not all my meat I fish I grow fruit and vegetables I live rurally and this is the only way I want to live. I’m 60 years old I do not take any meds or have any health issues. I teach martial arts and have always eaten meat and dairy daily.
This was nonsense. A pure vegan diet is compared with eating a crap omnivore diet? Also, what does the phrase, "My diabetes resistance went up" mean? Seriously, all the recommendations sounded like the same old stuff with very little support for it. How can they say diversity is best and then say that removing meat is equivalent to having it?
Our bodies are engineered to operate best with meat. Ancient humans obtained more calories from hunting a deer than they got from an entire field of lettuce. BTW, ancient humans had not learned the practices of farming so they got their energy from meat, and when meat wasn’t available to them they foraged for berries, fruits and vegetables. During this time they would lose weight because they simply couldn’t eat enough to survive long term. Meat is king but there are some people out there who don’t want you eating it, and they are going out of their way to make sure you can’t have it.
I wonder if Joey took part in this Identical Twins study, and if he did, whom did he bring as his ‘identical twin’! Did it work this time around? I am curious.
Whole foods organic plant based diet destroyed my health. Mood issues, muscle loss. It was terrible. Adding grass fed meat and animal fats restored my BMI and fixed my mood issues. Please don’t fall for the vegan propaganda. Its more of a religion, than a healthy diet. But vegan is better than a SAD.
Wish they did more athletic tests competing against each other and their baselines before diet change. Only a few months into veganism and I’m experiencing the best athletic performance of my life.
Dont eat unless it fits the following,
1) it comes from an animal
2) it comes from a tree / plant
3) it has less than 4 ingredients in it.
Do this and you should be ok.
Congrats to all the vegans bragging in the comment section! You guys are so brave! Hope you can continue to milk the lifestyle for more followers on instagram! So stunning! So brave!
So what we grow as vegetable and fruit has been so genetically modified. Fruit protein without meat protein is useless.. Check your teeth and your stomach….
The point is not wether or not it’s healthier for people . You can thrive on both. The point is that veganism is way healthier for the poor souls that don’t get slaughtered. Veganism is better and healthier for humans as well, however, because animal farming causes zoonosises an starvation that kill milions of humans as well as billions of animals
Anything different to the average American’s diet is going to be healthy, this proves nothing. Also, if humans were supposed to be strict herbivores then we would be able to process grass in our stomachs. If you can show me someone that is able to stay as healthy as the people in this study while eating nothing but grass for a month then I’ll believe this.
Garbage data in, Garbage data out. One twin "Continued to eat meat"…really scientific. If you want to really test this properly instead of 2 lean fit twins, find 2 obese out of shape twins. Feed one a vegan whole food plant based diet (no supplements), feed the other a carnivore diet (Beef, Bacon, Butter, Eggs, salt at it’s strictest or add other meats as well for more variety but no plants at all). Get identical triplets if you insist on a control group so the third can keep their normal diet, but I don’t see that as necessary personally. See which one gets sick of their diet first (enough to make them quit), and compare weight loss and health markers at that time, then wait until the other quits (or at like 1 year if they don’t) and compare markers again. If you really want to see something interesting have them log their hunger levels. The winner is the one who is healthier at the point they have both quit or at the one year mark if one or both don’t quit.
Spoiler Alert: I can tell you the result now without the test, the vegan will have anemia and heart failure as plants don’t generally provide the necessary vitamin B12 unless they are eating a bunch and I mean a huge bunch of kelp and mushrooms. Nutritional yeast isn’t a natural food in case some vegan mentions that, it’s an artificial "food product" grown with sugar meant to save vegans from their own idiocy. If you’re looking for a real diet, cut out sugars, cut out processed foods, cut out oils derived from heavily processed sources and no matter what else you do you are a lot closer to a "good" diet. If you are looking to save money, look into Intermittent fasting. No diet is cheaper than skipping meals.
Went from 245 to 160 (5 ft 8, male) by switching from a mostly processed diet to a balanced, whole food diet. Meat, fruit, dairy, and veggies. Paying attention to macros and micros as I do resistance training and MIT/HIT cardio. Resting pulse is 54 and BP is 108/62 at last check (at 47 years old). What I discovered in my journey is that it’s not about meat/veggies, it’s about processing (especially veg oils) and added sugars. People focus on the wrong things.
Quite the opposite. Scientifically a Meat Only diet is healthier than a vegetarian or vegan diet and by a long way. All the credible papers that have studied this show massive problems with vegetable based diets. The best is probably mostly meat and fats with a little veg and almost no carbs. Any other suggestion is a cult like mentality or to help fund the emerging grain and cricket industry. The food pyramid of the 80’s was upside down and was a major contributory factor in today’s obesity problem.
so basically the findings were that been a vegan is far more healthier than eating meat but they concluded that eat meat in moderation, why would you do that?
The objective is to have gut bacteria diversity. How can this be with only vegan or only carnivore? Anyway, I fell like vega* is like short fast burning calories with fiber and meat* like high calorie slow burning calories for the long run. And in order to stabilize glucose/insuline in blood, eating less frequently and more high & slow burning calories give me more stability. Btw, a lot of fibre can and will stop your gut flow
I was doing the carnivore diet for a while and i’ll be honest i didn’t feel that great. I just started vegan and i already feel better after two days of nothing but fruits veggies nuts etc. we’ll see how it goes
The comparison is flawed as the calories were the same. It takes your body more calories to process protein than carbs. On the cholesterol issue, this is very easy to solve if you’re a meat eater or otherwise. Just consume foods with polyunsaturated fats. One or 2 Brazil nuts a few times a week will do wonders for your cholesterol.
In the past 6 months I’ve been eating a 95% carnivore diet with the odd bit of dark chocolate sugar free jelly. I’ve lost 60lbs from 258lbs down to just under 200lbs as well as being on a carnivore diet I have cut out all processed meats I’ve not eaten any vegetables for 6 months. I’ve noticed my gout arthritis has decreased dramatically, my asthma has improved dramatically I no longer have to use my inhaler on a regular basis, my gums no longer bleed when brushing my teeth and I have alot more energy I don’t have a crash I like I used to after meals.
I have not consumed any aminal productions since 2010. Eliminated processed foods are well. Started practicing Intermitted Fasting (16/8). One of the best decisions that I have made…

Dr Shawn Baker look him up
Stupid vegetablists, if our ancestors didn’t start eating meat we’d still be living in tress and be food for leopards and hyenas. Viva Omnivory!

Of course not 😂
prossesed aint food
Smash
Not only vegan eat you shoud do some workout.
Wish they did more athletic tests competing against each other and their baselines before diet change. Only a few months into veganism and I’m experiencing the best athletic performance of my life.
“As unhealthy as eating processed meats.”Yeah if you eat like absolute garbage on your vegan diet.

I eat my meat with vegies and I’m loving it 👌🏼
No its absolutely not, m*rons.
Went pure carnivore 7 months ago! Never felt better in my entire life. Lost 50lbs and have more energy than I know what to do with it.

It’s way healthier for the creatures we ‘share’ this planet with 👍
The vegan twin looks bloated in the gut

Veganism is racist.

Just when I thought of giving up he gave me hope when all was lost #doctororias thank you for the herbs cure for yeast infection …
In my experience, key trick in nutrition is that, don’t convert eating into your main source of joy, and you will be fine.
It looks as though the meat eater was still given carbs in the form of bread rolls and other rubbish..very poor study
No it’s starvation

Just cut out processed crap, poor quality veg oils and excessive sugar, and you won’t have to do any sort of "diet".
No
No.
Mostly plant based but have seafood with 1 meal 2x week 👍
Wow, so many annoyed vegans in the comment section… Face it, science proves that BALANCE is the key!
People obesse over the health benefits but that’s not even the primary reason millions don’t eat meat 🤦

so basically the findings were that been a vegan is far more healthier than eating meat but they concluded that eat meat in moderation, why would you do that?
They seem to be making the most out of life together.
More bs from the food fad vegan camp. Ask a boxer who is stronger and fitter.
I tried vegan diets for two days, came to the kitchen & my wife was grilling a 7kg tomahawk, and I yelled really loud “feed me baby.”

Google:
plants feel pain and might even see
-You are plant torturers!!
