  1. Thank you! I like your short videos Dr Sarah, and I see the appeal to some in changing up the background. For me, however, it’s a bit like a strobe light – it feels unsettled. Must be my neuro-divergent brain, but it feels too distracting, visually, to focus on the audio, so I hope you don’t start doing all of your videos in this format.
    Love your content ❤️

Gundry’s claim is just pseudoscience and a load of bull shit. Lots of people eat these and have perfect bloodwork and feel great. It’s just a money grab honestly 😮‍💨

  3. I love, love, love Dr Sarah’s no nonsense approach to health!! She is a living encyclopedia of all the contemporary greats in the world of keto/ carnivore and fasting! 🙏

It amazes me how people who are so called professionals in health are very misinformed and lead others.

  5. Nice video! The audio was a little in and out.

  6. So good to see a nutritionist look at the actual evidence and not keep spreading the misinformation we have had for the most 50 or 60 years. And also refreshing to hear a Doctor acknowledge that med school taught them next to nothing about nutrition.

Thanks for all the good videos! So far I am about 95% Carnivore, a couple berries and dark chocolate squares here and there.

It makes me wonder how our predecessors developed and survived until they could tame animals or even after that , till date to be precise and become powerful enough to rule the world, at least to a certain extent?
The early humans definitely were much dependant on vegetarian food simply because it was not always on the move, will regrow without any effort and early humans were much like other animals of that time.

  9. im a vegetarian im not eating veggies!…f***k them

You are a fraud and it sends me that so many global people are falling for your lies. Your YouTube channel should be taken down for the harm you could cause others

  11. Doc, you should collaborate with Drs. Shawn Baker, Paul Saladino, Brett Scher and Ken Berry. That would be great to watch. They very much agree with you as I do.

I absolutely love beans! I want to go Carni. Not sure I can afford it, but I wish I could have beans now and then while on it.

  14. This type of misinformation is a shame. The reason any scientific view stays prevalent is because it gets tested over and over. There isn’t a new resurgence of doctors coming out in favor of an all carnivore diet. It is significantly in the opposite. The studies that are being done continue to emphasize vegetables and prove their value. Just as other studies show how exclusive red meat can significantly impact your health later in life with everything from dementia to cancer. If you also do any additional reading reviewing that book and doctor, he is heavily scrutinized. Diseases such as cancer, dementia, diabetes and other chronic health issues have been exploding over the past decades as people eat less vegetables and more sugar, meats, fast food, fat (also in meats), and grains. If you do even a little research you can find out about this. Something that hasn’t increased by much though is vegetable intake. So you can’t chalk up the many chronic diseases that have been exploding to that.

These are only some of the examples showing the obvious ties to vegetables in your diet. Here’s another factoid. Greece and the surrounding area is famous for their Mediterranean diet which has low emphasis on meat and high emphasis on vegetables. Even that meat when following the diet is mostly fish and chicken, not much red meat. They have on average a life span almost 10 years greater than Americans along with some of the lowest cancer, dementia, diabetes and other illnesses in the world. https://youtu.be/FDtzXPFIsYs?t=670

If you don’t want to believe numerous studies, Harvard, Cambridge, and others. Then the proof is in the pudding by example of Greece and other areas with a similar diet. If you’re going to try and debunk this you’re going to need to do better than a scrutinized book and doctor along with a 2 minute Youtube video.

What happened to the days of some miracle salesman/doctor showing up with snake oil or an equivalent and being dismissed because it was the opposite of widely accepted fact? You have a handful of people advocating this carnivore with doctors and books that have already been heavily scrutinized and the miles of affiliate links could essentially be considered the snake oil example. If there are 100 people in a room and 99 are saying the same things for decades with 1 person trying to insist this new way is better, then there better be a lot of solid proof for that to be considered. One debunked doctor (who also spreads COVID misinformation) and book with others anecdotes is not anywhere close to proof enough. It seems nowadays people jump on anything that goes against the majority opinion or science claiming that this type of information is trying to be repressed. This misinformation is frankly dangerous to peoples health.

As a PhD student myself I refuse to believe you actually have a PhD. IMPOSSIBLE that someone who is this detached from actual nutritional science and whom spreads misinformation studied academically.

but eggplant, cauliflower, tomatoes, mushrooms, potatoes, beans, peas, chickpeas and rice are DELICIOUS

  18. How about vitamine C Dr Sarah ? It is not needed ? Is it beneficial ?

  19. I don’t think you’re crazy, I think you’re incredible lacking in critical thinking skills if this is the BS you follow… you might want to read more actual meta-analyses by doctors which credentials and not a stupid book.

Thank you for another great video and I like the way it was shot. The misinformation on food, salt and exercise is so prevalent out there and this information really helps.

  21. THANK YOU. I don’t eat vegetables, I studied nutrition early in the 00’s and everything was plants. Finally the thinking is starting to come around to what really constitutes a human diet.
