Ditto! I like some veggies OK, but like Dr. Berg, I could fill up on junk and not eat veggies much. I love what he says, about not always having to eat everything for pleasure. Yes it is nice to eat something you enjoy, but come on, we need to throw in something good for our bodies, or our bodies will not perform as God intended. Like, we don’t let our kids just play every minute of the day, they have to go to school and learn. I have been making the kale shake for fatty liver, and I fond it is hard to drink, because of all the pulp. I sometimes drain the water off and mix it with my homemade coleslaw, and you can’t taste the kale much, and it is easier to eat.
I put blended salad veges on top of meat or noodles. I blend a slice tomato, a couple cups any green (usual spinach), garlic, onion, lemon juice, olive oil, water, salt & pepper, etc. These ingredients can change according to your taste buds. When it’s liquid I pour in over some noodles or whatever food. It taste great. Almost like making pesto or something.
there is nothing healthy about eating plants like people have been falsy led to believe plants are full of anti nutrients hence why 95% of vegans quit due to nutritional deficiency cuasing a whole hosted of mental health issues everything they tell you about a plant based diet is nothing but misinformation

Why do most cultures then cook veggies? It is now so difficult to digest raw veggies if i want as i am açcustomed to eating cooked , but it is literally impossible to cook multiple veggies when mom is the incharge of kitchen …

I dont see why people cant (like I do) all it involves is like you said chopping them the fruit like I use a pear, an apple maybe and then some kale , rocket (goes by another name in the US but I forgot which) and spinnach (all raw) and use about half or maybe just over of water and do it in the nutri-bullet and then drink it (maybe add some strawberries in there if you like them). It’s really super nice!

I absolutely hate all vegetables. There isn’t a single one I like. Hate the taste, hate the texture, just everything.
When you say it’s absolutely impossible to lose weight, I think you’re right. I just want to lose weight so bad, but it feels like I never will because I hate vegetables! I don’t want to make it hard on myself. I have a weak stomach and I get nauseous going on a little merry-go-round for like 20 seconds for 2 days. I also have acid reflux. So I don’t want to force the vegetables down with wanting to throw up. I want something that’s cheap, easy to make, and it’s really healthy with vegetables. But, it has a good taste, and it’s not unhealthy and helps you lose weight.

Have you ever tried swiss chard? I would rotate my green’s, alternate spinach, swiss chard and sometimes kale. After a while I noticed that my favorite was the chard. I read online that it has the highest vitamin and mineral content. It helped me lose a lot of weight. I would also use half an apple, a whole avacado, freshly chopped pineapple that I would freeze and frozen dark cherries for inflammation. It’s so good and filling. Definitely worth the try for anyone that can.

I thought that digestion starts first with chewing where the saliva begins the digestive process. Surely the stomach has to work extra hard then trying to digest a substance that you’d normally chew?

I wish I had known all this info decades ago. I remember reading a book by Marilyn and Harvey Diamond about raw food and how salt was poison. I tried to follow their dietary advice for years. I always felt tired, sick and almost died from low sodium. The years I could have been productive were gone because of their bad info. Thanks for being on YouTube and making all this so available.
Theres something about certain textures that make me straight up gag. I can pinpoint a single sliver of an onion in a stew and i cant swallow it down. People give me a hard time for it or judge me but i dont want to be this way either. But i feel so unhealthy and exhausted. I just…..cant……..do this……….
Don’t you think it’s a little scummy to promote that fruits are unhealthy for weight loss just to push your Kale shake mix? It’s literally recommended by all highly trusted nutritional resources that your plate should specifically be half veggies AND FRUITS. And then half of whatever else you choose to eat. Fruits and vegetables are equally healthy for you. Now I know it’s not really feasible for everyone out but I get free food because of my career path. (Military) and everyday for lunch, and dinner. (Not breakfast because I eat only protein and carbs to start my day.) I have a kale, spinach, and berry smoothie. That’s nearly half of my meal. I get about 5-7 serving a day (the recommended amount) and it helps me feel full and I am still losing weight. Now my weight loss is slow because I’m weight lifting but in less than a year just by changing my diet to half veggies and fruit I have lost somewhere around 15% body fat. Which is insane. And I’ve been gaining muscle alongside it.
Notice the change in colour and taste after a few hours. Veggies would start oxidising once blended, since blending increases the surface area and infuses air. Best to have it immediately.

Just drink the low sodium V8. You are wasting your time blending.

This is why I’ve had so many problems. I’ve gone most of my life without eating vegetables.
I have an underactive thyroid I’ve read that eating cruciferous vegetables can cause problems with my condition.

Chewing veggies is tiring. Chewing pizza, fried foods, chips, cookies – not tiring. Going to try drinking veggies now. More trips to bathroom too. 😂
