No mention of pulses like lentils or other high protein sources like sunflower seeds, maybe too complicated for a short video but a glaring omission IMO.
Can the Diet doctors address the elephant in the room? Any diet that restricts higher carb vegetables is a city big box store diet. Root crops and winter squash are survival foods for a great number of people in the more rural parts of the US because of there high production for low cost input in gardens. The seasonal nature and inability to be store for long term (more than 6 months) of above ground vegetables limits their use in areas not within a reasonable distance of a big box grocery. Ignoring the financial aspect of eating is equally important..calories in, calories out is effected by dollars in, dollars out.
You don’t eat vegetables for the protein, you eat them for the fiber and nutritional value and electrolytes, the protein in them is negligible. You eat eggs beef fish and turkey for protein. So this while video is pretty irrelevant
I like the direction that this channel is going. I eat high protein & lots veg & leafy greens…not has high fat as I started with keto…lost 75lbs….now much less fat..but still healthy fats.
Thanks a lot for all the informations , but the onion, rather high in carbs that’s true, it deos not contain starch …Thanks again for your work and your team’s work.
I would caution against eating large amounts of spinach due to it having one of the highest amounts of oxalates of any food. Oxalates combine with calcium to form calcium oxalate stones which can adversely affect the joints and kidneys. Excess consumption of oxalates has been linked to gout and kidney stones.
Think I get 95% of my carbs come from some butternut squash and an avocado every day – with my mainly meat diet. Giving up potatoes was hard at the start.
Thank you iam stuck, bloated, manboobs, I was told to eat fatty meats to loose weight no veg, diet doctor I try it your way for while let you know,, John in England
Strange video to talk about highest protein veggies unless it’s aimed at people who don’t eat meat. I eat veggies for the fibre, vitamins etc not for the amount of protein they give me…
This doc is on the right way; this makes sense what he is saying. That said, what is lacking is considering the current condition of those wanting to lose weight. This doc has no idea of who is watching this vid for what reasons. One pragmatic approach would be mentioning those, for instance, some might have particular health conditions that don’t go with what is being said, so anyone making the decision to go for KETO, first of all, should see the condition of the body, any sort of diseases, chronic illnesses, and most importantly age. Hmm 🤔
{Supper helpful video here, i myself lost over 34 lbs in just over 60 days and i released a report on how i did it on my profile|this is a very helpful video. I lost over 34 pounds in just over 60 days and published a report on how I did it on my profile,
Why promote plants?
If we are animals, with a digestive system built for animal meat and fat, why promote plants?
Can you explain that we cannot access and/or convert the nutrients plants have? And the fact that plants are oxidative?
Why promote plants???
Doc, many keto experts are warning to stay away from spinach due to high oxalates. Is this true? I love spinach and am trying hard to stay away because of all this. Similarly warnings against nightshades. Please advise.

Vegetables are not indicated in the human diet.

This was really helpful for me, thank you!
Can u send a list of the vegetables
Or you could trash the vegetables, and eat more meat instead…
Really very informative & thanks a lot Please make similar video for beans & lentils
I started losing weight again on a high protein diet. Thanks!
I have to eat 11# + pounds of spinach to satisfy my daily protien requirement.
this seems like a pretty elementary video
Leaving the meat for a veggie is not a wise decision,Unless you have a problem!!.
When I eat plants, I swell up like a puffer fish and all my joints hurt. I think I’ll pass.
My idea of high protein veggies is a steak with mushrooms on top.

Add 5 tablespoons of sugar to the meal and that makes it best for consuming

I found the natural pesticides and toxins in vegetables are not appreciated by my body. 3-years without veggies. Not dead yet. lol.
FAT loss ?
I love me some stir fry with at least 6-8 diff vegies, some finely sliced meat, poultry, shrimp and some scrambled eggs …. yummmmm 😋

Everything perfect except recommended meat intake

It’s so weird to hear about veggies from this channel. They are truly moving away from Keto.

Minus 6 kg in 4 weeks without hunger. Keto works.
