Wow this was a great video! I’m not vegetarian and was looking for a guide for a friend, and I really liked how there were cut scenes showing the different types of foods that people should eat, and it was made to look appetizing! Many other videos are of people talking and telling us what to do, but the visual of what to eat really makes this video a notch above. Very professional. 5 stars!
It does not make sense to me to cut out a healthy food such as sweet potato or lentils to name a few… Would it not be possible to just eat a smaller portion in relation to the amount of fat and protein available in the meal?

Hi! Can we eat veg keto if you have high cholesterol? Iโve been told to avoid dairy products but itโs virtually impossible to do keto without these ๐
Very, very helpful. I did really well on keto for the first time, fell off the wagon and realised I just wasnโt happy eating so much meat and animal products. I know I feel great on keto but I didnโt want animal overload so, Iโve been looking in to keto vegetarian. I found this very helpful. Thank You.
My mom is on a vegetarian diet and I’ve been trying to get her to go on keto. Problem is she doesn’t like care for cheese, eggs, tofu, fruit, most of the oils you mentioned. She does way too many carbs on average but she has eliminated the junk food at least and I’ve been sharing my avocados with her every day and pistachios. Little by little she is making positive changes and cut back on her portion sizes and no second helpings.
Iโm vegan except for the occasional feta. It hard where I live to get good quality avocados so I rely more on coconut. Milk. Cream. I use a lot of tofu. Iโm in Japan.
Iโve never eaten meat, I find it revolting and so I thought a keto diet was incompatible with my non negotiable vegetarianism. (Many fam members used everything from disappointment to threats to try and make me eat meat as a kid. Only made me pathological about it.) When I got sick after having a baby my sister got me to include chicken stock in food and thatโs the closest I can come to eating meat. I also went gluten free and even stopped eating oats bc I found I cut my symptoms in half. But the foods that Iโm finding the hardest to give up are rice (I love a sticky jasmine rice), sweet potatoes and beans. One of my fav meals is literally a sweet potato, blk bean Mexican rice. I only feel hungry about once a day, but when I do get hungry Iโm ravenous and want beans and rice with cheese. Itโs a childhood comfort food. My mom worried about me getting enough protein and would feed me lots of beans and rice. So thatโs a tough one. Iโm exhausted just thinking about changing my diet again, but I never fully recovered from my illness and itโs gotten worse lately. My fam has a tendency towards high blood sugar, even my sister who eats incredibly healthy, with little sugar or even much in the way of carbs, has high blood sugar. This is a woman who eats kimchi and other probiotics with every meal. She eats kale and chard or spinach every am. She started cutting carbs and all sugar, moving to a more keto type diet, and almost immediately lost weight and saw her sugar and cholesterol levels drop. It got me rethinking keto, especially when she said she was able to do it without eating much meat. I am intimidated though. I also have a child who bc she had to be put on an elimination diet when she was young bc of eczema and severe allergies, gets upset when I bring up a diet change. But she also worries about me a lot and wants me to get better. Anyways Iโm glad there are vids like this. Though I think Iโm going to have to get over my aversion to avocados, mushrooms and tofu bc I canโt just eat eggs as a protein source. To much egg make me feel sick to my stomach. But at least itโs just aversion with those foods and not the pathological revulsion I feel towards meat.

I’ve lost 93lbs on keto veggie. Still a way to go, need to stop baking keto goodies that are very high calorie.

Remember to soak those nuts to deactivate the phytic acid
