I think fermented artichoke is fine.

  2. Jane Smith says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:01 am

This is such great info!!!! Yay…thankyou so much

  3. I’m VERY Happy with my weight. I’m happy I can eat my peas

  4. I have a question about two meals a day. I was taught, and thought it was better to eat smaller meals throughout the day, instead of trying to vest so much all at once. Is that not true?

  5. Psycho Thinker says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:04 am

    I love Carrots 🥕 🥕 🥕
    Thank you Dr.Berge😍😍😍

  6. 5:38 When Dr berg has an "OMG BECKY" moment. Its gotta be related to carbs haha

  7. It’s July and I’m still planting. I just planted peas and thought oops better see what Dr. Berg says. But all my high carb foods get canned and stored so it’s okay.

  8. Farnaz Ganjeizadeh says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:10 am

Thanks . Was very informative. Thought carrots worse. How wrong I was.

  9. April Mcdonald says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:11 am

The corn protein is way off sorry. Ty

  10. Aparna Sherlekar says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:11 am

Corn and peas are seeds, that’s why they have high protein.

  11. Krista Canali says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:20 am

Can you please site your sources because I can’t find the same information as you for some of these.

  12. I don’t think your grams are correct on Artichokes??? You have 11 on one video and 269 on another? Please explain?

  13. April Mcdonald says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:21 am

I think your info is incorrect? According to the Ca Artichoke Advisory Board the nutritional label says ..1 artichoke with 53 grams edible portion has 6 gm carb 5 gm fiber 1 gm sugar …using an FDA nutrition label. Ty

  14. If you’re not sure, what are we non Dr supposed to think and do?

  15. Your info on artichokes is SO wrong. Wtf. You would have to eat 20 artichokes to get 269 grams of carbs. One artichoke is 474 mg potassium, 13.4 carbs and only 1 gram of sugar so it’s actually decent to eat and has wonderful nutrients.
This is why I can’t trust anything you say. And to think I originally believed everything on this channel. Smh this is so irresponsible. I’ve caught you being incorrect so many times….like saying popcorn is gmo when it actually never is gmo. It’s different from sweet corn. Which also there’s nothing wrong with gmo imo the more I’ve researched it there’s no reason to fear it. Actually looking at the other info your wrong about some of the other stuff too. Where in the world did you pull these numbers from.

  16. What about cucumbers? I wish Dr. Berg would’ve included cucumbers in this list since it’s a common vegetable.

  17. Lorem#2979 says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:25 am

    What about lentils and beans?

  18. 123456789ten says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:26 am

its impressive to see how Dr Berg looked older a couple years back compared to now, proof he knows what he’s talking about

  19. SuperPhils1 says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:27 am

What about beets and carrots if they are fermented, how would they stack up?

  20. Jayreid98 says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:27 am

    Artichoke, 269 grams of carbs?
No that’s incorrect. A whole artichoke has about 13 grams of carbs. I think you meant 26.9g possibly in a cup.

  21. Daniel Galligan says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:27 am

I am confused about artichokes. In this video they are no for keto, however I just downloaded the pdf of healthy ketosis acceptable food list and artichokes are on the list as acceptable. What is the correct answer?

  22. Joel Koonce says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:30 am

Thanks again Doc. I have been following your recommendations now for 5 weeks, I have lost 17 pounds, and don’t get hungry 😊

  23. Anil Londhe says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:31 am

    Beet carrot juice

  24. linkup99wa says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:32 am

One thing I’ll never accept is completely staying away from any of these fruits and vegetables. What this chart tells me is that they all have their unique traits/benefits.

  25. John Lee Halverstadt says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:32 am

When switching to keto…are there aude effects of dropping carbs altogether?

  26. Shannon Moseman says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:33 am

Is this raw or cooked veggies? I am assuming it makes a difference

  27. Unknowns music therapy says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:34 am

    Can I eat beans ?

  28. James Underdal says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:36 am

I love fresh sweet corn on the grill in the summer wrapped in foil with butter I may or may not enjoy that occasionally

  29. Shugar Diski says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:37 am

Those carbs in artichokes, are they not resistant starch which doesn’t spike blood sugar too much, if at all?

  30. The numbers for corn and artichokes are wrong. Very wrong. Carb numbers are way too high, and some other figures are also wrong.

The actual numbers for a cup of corn are: Approximately 30 grams of carbs and 6 grams of sugar.

The actual numbers for artichokes are: Approximately 9 grams of carbs and 1 gram of sugar. Note: 9 grams, not 269 grams of carbs.

But worse than having obviously wrong numbers is then using them to reach obviously wrong conclusions. Artichokes are bad for keto? Huh? Actually, it’s one of the best vegetables for keto.

If I mistakenly write that I’m 60 feet tall instead of 6.0 feet tall, that can be excused as a simple typo. If I then make a video where I keep repeating that I’m 60 feet tall, and that I can therefore leap over houses and school buses, people would wonder if I actually know what I’m talking about.

This video should be fixed or amended.

  31. ruby greby says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:39 am

  32. Gary McBride says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:40 am

Your numbers are WAY off on artichokes

  33. Marty Ford says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:41 am

    I can’t
    eat eggs

  34. Thanks for your vids. Love them 🙂
Also are you talking about raw or cooked vegs ? Would it make a difference ?

  35. Nannette Harmon says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:43 am

Can’t see the board with the words going across the video

  36. Natalie Nkhono says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:43 am

    Eat peas like hell😑

  37. Yeticus Rex says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:44 am

What’s better…Raw carrots or cooked (steamed) carrots? I like two mix my carrots and broccoli together, steam them, and put real parmesan cheese on them.

  38. Carmie Integrative Nutritional Chef and Coach says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:44 am

Maybe 1/4 cup of peas in a keto recipe

  45. Megan Tillman says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:53 am

How could our possibly eat a cup of artichoke? You can’t eat most of an artichoke.

  46. ChicagoJan says: July 26th, 2022 at 3:54 am

A cup of corn is about 30g of carbs. I get a lot out of most of your videos, but come on, this is just ridiculous!! Lol.
