I could not agree more. Anything labeled keto this or keto that is nothing more than food manufacturers’ way of jumping on the bandwagon to make profits. Don’t fall for it.
Keto is so restrictive and controlling .. .I disappeared on Keto..i work hard ..and lost so much weight as l felt guilty scared and unsure on what to eat or not to eat .to fast or not to ..

I feel that’s the real issue, whether your on keto or not, it’s just the frequency. Munching on anything easy you can grab and put in your mouth at every opportunity. Its just training yourself to say…….ok, I’ve had some food…..now I’ll wait till after. Soon as you say it’s good snacks, or keto snacks, people are like……. fantastic, now I can just eat loads of it π²π€
18 hour fasting will produce some results ….It’s called the legal definition of a hunger strike.
Seriously, if the average person could go 18 hrs without eating, dieting would be obsolete.

Oh NO! I just had my second meal it is 2:19 PM I had my first meal at 11:30 AM. I had olives π«, cheese π§, asparagus and now a Cobb salad π₯, and mocha keto cheese cake. I was going to have some greens with avocado and ground turkey for dinner
Thanks for this one. I’ve been very guilty during my COVID furlough of snacking – yes they’ve been Keto, but as you say that still not good. My craving for dopamine is just so high through this time and also my boredom of being home for the past 5 months (and I just found out my furlough is continuing for another 6 months!) But I like the idea that the snacks can be the dessert so that they’re part of the meal. Usually I fast from my dinner until lunch the next day and the only thing I consume is coffee with heavy cream and water with either lemon or lime. That should be fine, right?

I have doing keto for 3 months now, no sugar. Doing 18/6 IF also. but today my mom made a drink she didnβt say she added sugars or anything. While drinking I realised it was sweet and realised I made a mistake.
Will all my effort be washed away just because of one mistake? π
The timing of this video is perfect. I’ve just moved into 18 to 18.5 hours fasting and it’s so easy! In fact, when I have my first meal – around 2pm, I’m stuffed for the whole afternoon I suppose that means I should be thinking of one meal a day. But I’ll hang around on two meals for a few weeks.
I would argue that anybody needing to snack on Keto needs to add more fat calories to their meal(s) so that they are satiated enough to not think of snacking. If boredom is the reason for snacking, consider a hobby lol.
Dr berg have a look on millets of India,your.whole perspective will change.make a video on millets.they have high fibre and low glycemic index.require less water to grow.
If you’re snacking you’re breaking the fast thus raising insulin and there’s no fat loss with raised insulin.
The point is to fast as long as possible and keep that insulin down.
How do you know that your body is burning the fat when youre fasting? Do you need to feel hungry or full? I just watched the basic keto, and i just started, but i kinda worry that im doing it wrong π
Finally someone legit addressing this. Too bad Dr. Mercola cant chime in on this as well. I love the keto snacks but I stopped seeing results when it became part of my diet.
Keto food is delightful, easy with plenty to chose from. But the hardest part is discipline: eat daily at the same hours, do not snack, do not binge, stay away from food when is not meal time. If it was for me i would have no meals, just snack all day :p
I have been slipping into eating between meals. I did awesome for the whole year up until the beginning of August. I don’t know why I am slipping into this routine. I am going to get back to my strict two meals a day with nothing outside those meals. However, is it good to fast 20 hours EVERYDAY? I hear so many conflicting views on this. I am looking for weight loss. I have lost 103 pounds and still need to lose another 20.
I usually, like twice per week have a keto snack( praline,yes home made) after my meal and I’m doing a 20 or 24 hour fast. After about a month I reached a point where I wasn’t losing much weight, so now gonna cut out completely on snacking after my meal.
I reset my body after 20 days of 19 hrs of IF. Didn’t lose one pound…but the following week after IF I started burning fat – of course, I eat healthy. No Keto for me. Plant based works better for some reason and I am fine with it.
I was doing so good this month, until I started buying keto snacks. Even though my snacks are keto, I kept snacking and blood sugar raised. I just cleaned out my pantry and threw it in the garbage. I wish Dr. Berg made this video a month ago. lol The reason i started fasting and keto was to lose weight and especially to stop snacking.
Iam you are big fan however I think you are looking so tired and skinny and lost the glow in your face these days….Are you ok or may be you have lost lot of weight which is making you look like a ill person.

This came right at the time I’d been searching for keto snacks! It’s good to know they can be consumed at the end of the meal also.
Add the snacks in the big meal and not eat between ! That is what I try to do ! One meal a day is becoming easier !

What would be recommended for females with Pcos? Wouldn’t the insulin resistance go up?

WHat is a window of eating? As in how long can I have to finish a meal? (I eat pretty slow)
