  1. Pecans are extremely low in carbs

  2. i dont understand, the roasted, unsalted macadamia i bought said it contain 38g carbs /100g, is it because of the different varieties? Please help me i dont know whether or not I should eat it

  3. Is this a "these nutz" meme?

  4. where are almonds? 🙁

Yes thanks for not just focusing on carb content. Too many PUFAs and Omega 6 overall in many nuts.

Tommy Gun, You are a blessing with that Omega-7 (assuming it is related to Palm oil’s active element ?) knowledge.

  6. Optimize with Science says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:23 am

Thanks for the video! Brazil nuts are also high in selenium and zinc, which could help to boost testosterone levels!

  7. Avocado and olive oil also contain omega 7. Brazil nuts are high in fat and have hardly any net carbs.

  8. Vedran Klemens says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:26 am

    What about hazelnuts?

  9. Christian Oscar says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:28 am

not that i hate keto, maybe its not just for me. i did lose weight with it but i always feel like a shit. i hated it thats why i switched my diet to agoge diet. never felt better and happier, so easy to follow and still deliver results

  10. Galina Staneva says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:30 am

Why do you recommend eating the brazil nuts raw? What do they lose after roasting? Loving your videos by the way, super useful!

  11. Pleasure Chest says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:32 am

A person who consumes nuts, nut oils, nut butters, and nut milks
gradually developes plaque in all tissues. Cyanide, which circulates
nutrients in plants, cannot be separated from saturated fat in nuts even
    with cooking.

I love pecans, but unfortunately the omega 6 profile with them was a bit off, so left them off this video as a great fat source because of that. However, they’re easy to digest and still make my list of best nuts overall, just not my highest fat, lowest carb list.

All this time I didn’t know pili nut is very healthy. This nut is everywhere in Indonesia and wayyy cheaper than macadamia and pecan!

  14. if you want to know more about diet, just go to a WooPep page, there is all you need 🙂

1 quick question can i still consume/make almond butter after soaking them/blooming them? And is almonds good or meh for the low carb diet and not the keto diet?

  16. The Actual Mac says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:36 am

Why are you telling people don’t buy roasted walnuts because of the denatured omega-3? But immediately before saying macadamia nuts are amazing because of their omega-3 and to buy roasted because they taste better ¿

  17. ❤️ Pili nuts ❣️❣️❣️

  18. Paulette young says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:38 am

You described a pilli nut as a buttery crunchy nut
    Ummm Butterfinger lol

  19. *Warning:* Eating an entire bag of Brazil Nuts will result in a diarrhea tsunami.

99.9% of Dr’s have No Clue about this! Macadamia Nuts having a protective benefit of the myelin sheath on nerves is Huge for 2 diseases.
1st is called RSD/CRPS. Inflammation is triggered by gleal cells that ultimately attack the nerve. Eventually people with this disease die of co-morbid conditions related to this disease.
2nd is Obviously the inflammation response that happens in Multiple Sclerosis. When the immune system goes crazy, it attacks the mylein sheath and destroys it causing atrophy or death of the nerve.

I am battling these and started existing in a "no cure, prepare to eventually die" routine.

I am changing Already and can Feel it in my nerves. With RSD/CRPS you feel like you’ve been doused in gasoline and lit on fire! The pain is extreme.

M.S. of course, causes the nerves to stop firing, inflammation and damage to the nerves and loss of muscle function.

This Is Incredible! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

  21. Just made first order of pili nuts. never heard of them before. excited! but did I miss something? I see the link in the description but was there a discount code for your viewers to use?

Keto works but honestly I felt so bad from the start. Then I tried the Agoge diet plan and it also worked, but I didn’t feel bad at all, so I am sticking with the Agoge diet.

And nut choice…The Fix and Fogg Peanut Butter has only 1 carb per TBLS, FixandFogg.com, it’s a little expensive but it is so good the most I have ever been able to eat at one time is 1 tsp.

  25. Alex Cherevatiy says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:48 am

Man, I’ve got a little confused. In your video here – https://youtu.be/sRVj9mcC1vI (3:03) you say that high omega-6 in walnuts cause inflammation. While in this video you say that walnuts do reduce inflammation ?! What a …?!

  26. Adam Treadwell says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:49 am

There are alot of talks about nuts in keto, but what if you have a nut and coconut allergy? Could we have a video based on Keto based on the main allergies? Also for people with really sweet tooth any ideas?

  27. BSKR Creation says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:51 am

If you want to get rid of fat, I recommend the Agoge diet. I lost lots of fat and felt great all the way.

  28. I’m assuming pistachios are a no go?

  29. Clevitation CR says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:51 am

Instead of repeating content on same stuff like nuts over and over again, why don’t you choose the requested unspoken/deep topics like carbs, fat combo in a meal, carcinogenic chemicals obtained from frying food, precautions in a low-carb(not keto) diet etc.?

  30. Shakoor Sherani says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:51 am

Keto should not be followed by healthy people, and there must be medical supervision. If you want to lose fat or cellulite then definitely try the *Agoge diet*, it worked wonders for me..

  31. Just ordered me and my wife some Pili nuts. Can’t wait to see how they taste. Thank you

  32. Rafael Zambaldi says: September 14th, 2022 at 2:52 am

  44. Freeman Wells says: September 14th, 2022 at 3:10 am

Thanks Thomas! Pili nuts are my go to snack at home and when out walking my daily 6.5 miles around the golf course! Thankfully I live in the Philippines and get my Pili nuts directly from the farm dirt cheap! 2 kilos for less than $20!

  45. Hi Thomas, love your videos.

So I picked up some macadamia nuts from Whole Foods and when I got home I noticed that in the ingredients it said it contains expeller pressed canola oil… won’t that kick me out of Keto ?

  46. Thanks, Thomas, for all the time you spent researching for us as always. I love walnuts and macadamia nuts. No wonder it feels like I’m cheating on the keto diet. Thumbs up as always!

  47. Would really like to have Jillian Michaels try to debate with you on the Keto diet. She’s doing a disservice to many who listen to her. Thanks for all your efforts Thomas. Great presentations.

We can only buy Walnuts in India as other 3 are imported and expensive or not available in India.
