You all are right about certain items not being gout friendly, but they are not gout triggers unless you eat a lot. It would have been good to have that mentioned. Use asparagus lightly as a taste and not as a meal.
The only foods I feel safe eating during a gout flare up are nuts, berries, cherries, egg-whites, black beans, avocado, 100% whole grains, low-fat cheese and greek yogurt. Sautรฉed mixed veggies with bell pepper, onion, garlic, using extra virgin olive oil is my favorite dinner choice. Any kind of meat product including chicken will worsen the condition trust me. I don’t eat like this all the time but definitely during flare ups it’s best to be safe. One time I had tofu during an attack and it made it worse too, so I don’t trust everything these people are saying on YouTube… If you even think about having one sweetened drink or a beer you will pay and suffer dearly even when you think it’s over. Avoid at all costs and just drink water or unsweetened green tea and coffee with non dairy creamer

Spinach n tomatoes are not at all good for uric acid.
oat is no good from the start, I skip to watch it, when I heard spinach even the worst vegetable for acidic purine.
