I just lost 10kgs in 18 days on a juice fast. Too fast for sure but I still lost it and it wasn’t water or muscle, just fat. I felt great with plenty of energy. I only stopped because I felt I was losing too much weight too quick. I’m going back on it again tomorrow but have decided to fast for a week then eat lightly for a couple of days then fast again for a week etc until I reach my desired weight.
My experience so far on day 7 of a juice fast is: Lost 12 pounds. Blood pressure has returned to a more normal 119/78. Down from 147/95. And I check it several times a day. I have been on BP meds for over 10 years so that’s a good sign. I have not been hungry and I don’t lack energy. I still go to the gym 3 days a week. My guess is I am getting enough calories and nutrients. I will return to eating soon but will not go back to the same diet that raised my BP.

Just looking to incorporate intermittent fasting . My skin and my mind feel so healed and I’m glowing so much I’m not even concerned about weight loss

I just got off of a 6 day juice cleanse (about 90% veggies 10% fruits). I actually feel great and thinking of doing another round of the juice cleanse or jumping into alternate day fasting. What I can say is… juicing has helped with the arthritis in my finger. I haven’t really been able move my finger in months but just 6 days of juicing and my pain is gone and I can actually move my finger again. I’ve also managed to lose 8 pounds. I’m sure it water weight but I mean… it still makes me feel great. I feel less bloated, my skin is glowing and I have more energy. My mind is also more positive. One thing to note is Im hypothyroid and have trouble losing weight. This actually helped. Maybe juicing isn’t for everyone but I’ve had great results from it. Maybe it depends on what you juice. Now I’m looking for a way to maintain this.
Yes we should listen to advisers, consultants and professionals however, do your own research and make your own decisions. Ultimately follow your own intuition because you’re always going to find contradicting info.
Btw I personally prefer 85% veggie 15% fruit juice considering that this video was more about fruit juicing

You appear to be confusing the process of a juice fast or juice cleanse (as it is stated in your video title) with a permanent change of eating to only juices – and more importantly disregard the fact that most juice fasts rely on vegetables, moreso leafy greens. The former process is designed to be undertaken for a specified duration of time to achieve a specific or multi-goal purpose, whereas the latter process will eventually lead to problems down the road.
To call fresh fruit juice sugar and coloured water is quite ridiculous. The claim of fructose from fruit juice messing up the liver is also completely contradicted by those who have undergone juice fasting for months at a time supervised by medical personnel who at the end show absolutely normal test results on all parameters. Studies on fructose were not done on people consuming fruits but rather on people consuming processed fructose in powder form in the absence of fiber.
What the presented in no way whatsoever debunks a juice fast or juice cleanse which have and continue to rescue people out of life-threatening medical conditions, restore them to health and yes help the body clear out and rejuvenate itself from time to time. There is a great deal of antioxidants released from fruits and vegetables regardless of some antioxidants being bound to fiber – the study doesn’t reflect the benefits obtained in real life scenarios.

I’ve done a 28 day juice challenge twice. It was amazing, and not too difficult to do. I never thought of it as a ‘fasting’ diet. I was completely satiated on 4 juices a day and some days couldn’t keep up with the volume of juice. I’m a juicing believer, I think the body is so happy to see all the nutrients from the variety of veggies in the juice!
All of these are 100% out right FALSE! 1st if you Juice Feast and drink at least 140oz of juice a day you can get over 2,000 calories not 600. 2nd he obviously never tried juice feasting because anyone who does know that the hunger sensation disappears completely after 5-7 days, that’s not to say your emotional ties to it disappear, but your microbiome will no longer crave food. It’s really amazing and a once in a life time feeling. So the whole protein thing is BS! 3rd the antioxidants and flavanoids are not at all tied to the fiber!! That is just a straight up lie! If they were then fiber goes through you so your body would never be able to untie it from the fiber like he claims! Most people mainly drink vegetable juice and only add a small amount of fruit just to make it more palatable. If you watch Jason Vales documentary ‘Super Juice me’ all of the clients who did the juice fast healed from some or all of their medical conditions and came off some or all of their medications and I believe if they continued to fast the whole group would have been completely healed and medication free. Sometimes you need to do something quite extreme to heal the body.

Fiber is a nutrient uptake INHIBITOR. One of the benefits of juicing is that the micronutrients get absorbed into your body much more efficiently than if the fiber was there.
