  3. friend told me about the ABCs way back and told me about the health benefits. At the very least, I’d recommend Apple Beets Carrots to people. Aside from that, you’re better off eating your fruits and veggies instead of throwing away all of the fiber or spiking your insulin from the mass sugar all at once.

  9. Yes you are right , In Indonesia we call it jamu.. our traditional drinks, full of benefits for health…
    Actually Our jamu (herbal medicine) has a lot of variants and uses, based on the ingredients ….. we have kunyit asem (like as you made), beras kencur, empon empon, wedang uwuh, temulawak etc.
    try add press lemongrass, cloves, cinnamon, and javanese coconut sugar.. for more benefits

    Juicing is fine, but I’ve found that our stomachs were made to break these things down from their natural form. Our intestinal tract is quite long and is fashioned to extract certain qualities from our food in certain locations throughout the length of it.

I wanted to note in case people are watching and aren’t aware. if you have autoimmune diseases (I don’t think it applies to celiac disease though) but other ones like RA, Lupus etc, avoid the elderberry as this is not recommended for us and it can worsen autoimmune activity since it stimulates the immune system. Same with melatonin.

  26. Great healthy recipes but putting honeynor lemon in a bowling water because both honey and lemon lose all the vitamins but it is also bad for us. It’s a recent study that hasn’t been known before. However, lemon and or honey may be added once the liquid is at least warm.

    Are these anti inflammatory smoothies really heal atleast partially chronic inflammatory diseases?like chronic gastritis?

    or this is just used to promote or increase sales of blenders or juicers?
    I am suffering from chronic gastritis.
    sometimes when the disese flare up with bad pain i feel very disheartend and despair.The pain just makes doing even everyday routine household chores very painful everyday more or less.
    strict diet help.but can’t stick to it like forever.

  34. I Will def give this a try. After suffering a stroke about a yr ago, I have stopped progressing in my therapy. Was told anti-inflammatory might just give me a "boost" and science agrees. I admit my diet is lacking now, but I could learn to love it!

  39. As a breakfast drink, I often sprinkle a little turmeric powder and black pepper into water, then heat it in the microwave for about 2 minutes. This makes a tasty anti-inflammatory tea.

    If you want, you can also add ginger, cinnamon, etc., and / or mix any of those ingredients with coffee. But the turmeric power / black pepper is super cheap, can hardly be easier, and it works.

    Hi Lisa Just printed these 10 anti-inflammatory drinks and will try them all for sure. I know some will not agree with me (or me with them) but I’ll give it a chance. I’m 65 and retiering next year and want to at least give me a chance to enjoy the next chapter of my life. I will even embarq my husband (70) in this journey (if he wishes to). We probably won’t enjoy or savor the same drinks but it will be nice to at least try 😀

    Basically ginger lemon and turmeric are the main anti inflammatory products. Turmeric has to be combined with black pepper for better absorption. This concoction with honey is used to cure sore throat and cough.

    Fructose is inflammatory. Stick to veggies recipes, the blueberry/banana smoothie is not good.
