Does your body need the same amount of calories when you’re eating raw/green smoothies?

I really hate bananas. Is there anything similar I can replace it with? Bananas are likely the only fruit I don’t like. I don’t think there’s a vegetable I don’t like either (I could pass on Chinese bitter melon, though)
Can I use frozen spinach and frozen fruits instead of fresh ones?

Can you make a green smoothie over night and drink it in the morning
Sergei. I buy my organic fruits and greens and freeze them Then I make a daily smoothie of multiple cups of crushed frozen greens which is more volume… a cup of mixed frozen fruit…. Protein powder and a blend of super seeds!! Do you feel freezing my fruits and greens is a problem?
Making smoothies doesn’t take long, but doing the dishes does

I just got a vitamix a3500 in mail today to start trying out green smoothy’s. I ran across this video while researching and so glad I found this. Has opened my prospective more on this. I can’t wait to go to store to see what I can blend up. 6 years ago I went from 274lbs to 208lb in a year eating greens and lean meats working out. I fell off that band wagon and now I’m 286lbs. Never did the smoothy’s so this is going to be meal replacements and ill just eat lean meat with the smoothy’s. Always hated eating some the veggies I think a smoothy will be 10x easier to consume. I’m pretty good at eating stuff I don’t like because I used the moto of "eat to live not for taste" so I can do this again adding fruit. Kinda weird eating a Kale leaf wrapped in a pineapple lol. So I’m excited hopefully this will get me back on track. Happy holidays and thank you for this knowledgeable video.
After a few times of heating the same music it’s boring. Suggest you shorten it or change it.

So informative. I learned the hard way about not rotating foods when I got ill from too many oxalates which should be curbed not only for those prone to kidney stones but for women prone to Vulvodynia. (I question the study that says hamburger is high in oxalates as meat barely contains oxalates other than, oddly, sardines). I was in a high-oxalate food rut of sardines, spinach, almonds, sweet potato, beets…literally all the highest oxalate foods while never having heard the word oxalate…not sure why I was drawn to high oxalate foods at the same time…but a learning lesson for sure.
Kidney problem can drink it.

Great in theory, okay in practice… the biggest thing I wish I knew and felt was left out is if you don’t currently eat much fiber in your regular diet add in a ramp up phase. I experienced a good bit of bloating, gas, and runs because I just jumped in and started the challenge. After a couple weeks it was a little better and I did some extra research to find it is highly advisable to ramp up to a high fiber intake. Other than that I don’t love all the recipes, but it is easy enough to modify till it tastes better, and I can’t find all the ingredients even though I’ve tried 5 grocery stores maybe it’s just cause it is 2022? What I do enjoy is the variety and diversity of the shopping lists and that he explains how to be flexible with the recipes. I am enjoying the smoothies and making it a consistent and looked forward to part of my day. Just please, if you eat a low fiber diet currently, ease into it.
