    Dr Berg,
    I’m wondering why Freelee the banana girl doesn’t put on weight. She takes so much of fruits eg at least 7-8 bananas in her smoothie, plus sugar and dates for breakfast. She’s in fact lost weight. and I noticed the amount of fruits she takes daily is enormous too. I’m at a loss. Do you have any opinion on Freelee? Thank you doc.

    I know someone who has eaten the grapes of wrath & their sugar levels never went up

  18. I was 🤒 with a flu with temperature and vomiting. After 4days I was like skeleton. Then to hospital. They gave me IV glucose, 1-2 times per day, and my vomiting and suffering ended abruptly. It was like a miracle.

  22. I keep seeing not to mix fruits with veggies. Are there any side effects or issues mixing them? Doing intermittent Fasting, if I have 2 meals or 1 mean a day when I can eat the fruit. I must have a normal meal, the fruit will not fill me up

    I’ve lived both fruitarian and as a raw foodist and a cooked vegan for periods. It is completely impossible to get fat on those diets. Fruit is the least likely by far. The amount of fruit and sugar you’d have to take in is obscene. But of course, if the "Doctor" says so.

    Cooking a potato is not gonna cause weight gain. Lol. People love blaming certain foods for weight gain. Look, if you are cooking with oil or butter, then yeah, but if you just cook the potato and eat it as is, that’s good! A sweet potato has more good sugar, but you will use that energy when you get moving!

    What about cooked vegetables like choys/leaves??? Bruh Chinese dinner 50-70% all vegetables, 10-20% meat and 10-30% rice :U
    Starting to gain weight :/

    Bacon and butter makes you skinny but fruits make you fat? Come on seriously? Do people really believe that? Fruits are low in calories.

    I started juicing watermelon, spinach, beets, carrots, lemons and apples but noticed I started gaining weight. Should i reduce the amount of apples i put? I drink 8oz in the morning and 8oz in the evening. I also started taking shots of ginger+tumeric+lemon+apple.

    I feel If I eat raw veggies or overall veggies, my stomach size goes up like bloated. I have elevated ldl cholesterol 153 so need to eat more veggies and fruits . What do you recommend? My HDL is 66 and Triglycerides is 70 .Should I avoid butter and whole milk completely or no? Can I eat peanuts and coconut milk? Will appreciate your response!Thanks 🙏

  44. Keep in mind that 1g of carbs (any carbs, from any source) is 4 kcal. Period.
    Eating too much of anything can make you fat.

    I have lost 40 pounds in two months. I fasted for four days and then started on my diet. Which consist of eggs, green beans, bell peppers, and onions. I have been snacking on nuts in between meals. I use A lot of hot ingredients such as jalapeños, pepper flakes, chilies, hot sauces, salt and pepper, I use soy sauce as well. Even though I started out a 387 pounds I am down to 340. My whole life my cholesterol has always been low around 178 and I have low sodium which must be hereditary. My brothers can’t understand why they have high cholesterol and I don’t especially being almost 400 pounds. I do eat meat every other day which only consist of about 4 to 6 ounces a day. And I’ve learned to love cooking for myself.

    I want to eat more veggies in my diet. I usually eat a lot of starchy foods like potatoes and rice but I need to incorporate more leafy vegetables in my diet
