Chestnut Mushrooms, Egg’s and egg shells contain calcium and Vitamin D. I’m just naming things off the top of my head. In addition beef is the most nutrient dense meat of all meats and animal fats are vital in hormone production which regulate your body’s mood and processes. Your body literally evolved over thousands of years around utilising these food sources, I find it difficult to justify how this isn’t fundamentally a healthy diet as long as your prudent with eating the same things that hunter gatherers ate.
We also need to get away from the idea that eating meat is just about eating the muscles, there are plenty of other parts of the animals including the liver, the heart, bones and bone marrow, the brain. That provide different nutrients, that you would have been eating as a hunter gatherer.
In a recent research journal it says consumption of fats (saturated/unsaturated) does not elevate serum cholesterol level. The concept of eleveted serum cholesterol was based on a 1970 research paper where rabbit was the test subject and it was fed with high carb and oils were used in place of animal fat(rabbits are herbivore 😂)so its totally safe to consume meat and fat in meat provided there is good energy expenditure or else obesity will result
As a native-born Midwesterner who grew up where there are almost more cattle than people, I had to smile at this video. Back there, the prize beef is corn-fed. Always has been. If somebody says they only eat grass-fed beef, well they would starve. It may be different now from when I grew up, but I’d be surprised.
When I did paleo I allowed dairy just because I actually didn’t see a problem with them. I only ate real cheese (none of that processed plastic shit) grass fed butter and whole milk. Also I like dairy.
Is Paleo diet good for back pain? I heard it’s good for back pain. I’m not looking to loose weight. I’m fairly skinny as it is so I don’t need a diet but if it helps to rid of back pain I’m willing to try it
I can’t believe how many ignorant people are out there. All those toxic diets like keto, paleo, Atkins have been scientifically debunked and proven to be harmful. But mother nature is cruel. Gullable prey who believe those false paleo/keto diet gurus will die earlier, and as their arteries are clogged up, they won’t procreate as much.
Archaeologists have uncovered the earliest evidence of bread-making at a site in northeastern Jordan. Dating back some 14,400 years, the discovery shows that ancient hunter-gatherers were making and eating bread during the upper paleolithic. So bread is paleo now.
This is so good. Right on point. It does make me hungry though 😂. Who every liked this video I recommended this video for y’all. I think It’s a bran new channel. Thank me later! https://youtu.be/yAYocZVzw6Q
“vitamin D” go get some sun or orange just beef is fine to eat 24/7. You sound like a Karen that’s never been on a diet. Did nothing said nothing. do better next time
My partner and i took the recommendations of a friend and researched 3WeekDietPlan55.blogspot.com . It has given great results to its users and worked incredibly well for me. Within a week, I’ve already dropped 16 pounds.?
Red meat is what we humans have eaten for 10.000s of years. It contains more good than almost anything else we eat, only challenged by eggs. I agree with eating fish, eggs etc, but continue eating a small amount of red meat each week to get the best out of your diet. Red meat is such an incredibly important part of the human diet and has been since man first evolved and was able to catch or trap animals.
How interesting that medical doctors here in the U.S., no matter which medical school they attend, they pretty much get the same education about how to do many things. If I go to 10 different doctors with a bacterial infection, they’re all going to prescribe an antibiotic. Yet, with dieticians, they’re all over the map with dietary recommendations.
If it’s Paleo wouldn’t grains like rice and dairy be part of it. Back in the day they would use every part of an animal. Idk seems like it’s your own opinion what our ancestors ate.
I doubt you eat even a tenth of the bugs your ancestors did if we go back to the paleolithic era… nor is it likely that you eat unrecognizable small woody semi-poisonous carrots and potatoes… you don’t think apples and bananas looked, tasted, or sustained anything like they do now do you? For a hundred thousand years we were nomads living off the land, in the past 12 thousand we changed everything.
Now to have a bit of fun. You may choose to stop reading here as the rest will be a bit of a troll / rant.
I’m a nomadic hunter gatherer with the resistance too, (well, at heart) but do we take down civilization starting with food? I mean it seems like a solid leg of attack but then again shouldn’t we just re-claim the food? (Start growing the old original wild versions.) Maybe, but the civilians (slanderous term) have done as much good as bad with the food, I mean just look at how big it all is and how much ‘meat’ is has, the fruit has more meat, the vegetables, even the grain and maybe the animals too, it’s hard to tell for all the fat on them. Besides intentionally growing food is how they got us in this mess in the first place… they’ve never climbed a tree for honey, they don’t know the real cost of honey. Honey doesn’t cost one and a half hours of your hourly wage flipping burgers, it costs a 15 to 20 minutes of getting stung while trying not to fall out of a tree. Now this is a troll in that obviously I’m living in civilization, and a lot of nuances in my understandings are neglected, glossed over, simplified, and/or summarized here, but I honestly do feel that humanity’s biggest mistake was making civilization. When it comes to the terms ‘civilized’ and ‘barbaric’ the definitions should be switched, because the ‘civilized man’ is the most uncivilized thing ever. Hence why I consider ‘civilian’ and ‘civilized’ slanderous and derogatory terms. So I ask this from a person who wants the hole of humanity to go back to living how we did in the Paleolithic… Do you really want to follow the Paleo Diet? Do you really know what the diet of the people in the Paleo period was like? I’d bet not. I do, and luck for you, unlucky for me, that food doesn’t exist anymore… a lot of it does but huge swaths of it are missing forever. But you really should add insects to your diet. Insects, not bugs… insects have six limbs bugs can have 6 (insects are part of the broader category of bugs) 8 (arachnid) a hundred (centipede) a million (millipede) etc… an insect is a bug but a bug may or may not be an insect. Most non insect bugs are poisonous, venomous, or toxic. (Three completely different things)… so eat only bugs with 6 legs to improve your odds of eating safe things. Also, if you get sick eating bugs, that’s on you, why are you taking my advice you idiot can’t you tell I’m an idiot too. That should keep the lawyers busy for a while. Alright I’m out… duces.

It’s so frustrating how behind times registered dieticians and even doctors sometimes can be.
That whole ‘red meat is bad for you’ rubbish has been sufficiently debunked for well over half a decade now!

How’s your cholesterol going to go up when 95 percent of us are eating these foods anyway we’re just eating a lot more junk food along with this

I like how she said to tweak the diet a little..
Just eat most of what’s on your paleo with a little of this and that to keep you eating right. Everything in moderation.

I’m confused, I just read the paleo diet book by Loren Cordain and the amount he goes on about how terrible bacon is gets a tiny bit annoying actually
They lived for many years eating this way and was just fine. Your body adapts just make sure you eat plenty of greens and your golden.
”missing some vitamin D” well you can go outside or if there is no sun you can easily take vitamin D supplements
Is Paleo diet good for back pain? I heard it’s good for back pain. I’m not looking to loose weight. I’m fairly skinny as it is so I don’t need a diet but if it helps to rid of back pain I’m willing to try it

Red meat isn’t bad for you! It has long been debunked
You should slow slow down with meat as you get older, young people metabolism can withstand it.
So basically good except for the meat, lack of vitamins and bad fats. Meh. She’s full of crap.

OMG! Can’t believe I heard that………
The "don’t eat too much red meat" thing has been debunked very recently. Doesn’t cause cancer or hear disease

I think the red meat is the center of the Paleo diet.
How many calories recommend for weight loss in paleo diet? % fat, protein, fiber recommended?

Listen a paleo diet is eating like a caveman and caveman live to 20 and were extremely stupid
Red meat isn’t bad so this lady is a horrible dietitian.
Where would I get fibre on a paleo diet?

Why no milk??! They had cows…

I don’t care, I love processed foods and forever will.
