People like me that has Stage 3 Kidney Disease are told to stay away from magnesium & potassium because they are bad for the kidneys. Have you researched this???

I learned if you gain all the weight back after stopping keto its either because you lost muscles instead of fat (doing keto wrong way), or because you restarted unhealthy eating habits
I did Keto and OMAD for 6 months and lost 60 pounds. It was amazing progress. But I gained it all back and way more. For me it wasn’t a sustainable diet probably cus of the fasting but im starting it again now 🤷♀️
I first was on Keto for 6 to 8 months. I lost 2" in waist size, gained mobility and had more energy. ThankGiving and Christmas and I ruined the diet. I still have my mobility gains, but gained in my waist size and my energy is not as good as it was, but I’m age 73. I’m going back on the Keto diet and hope to find a way to stay on it better afterward. I don’t remember having Keto Flu. IF i did it was very mild.

I do enjoy Keto diets however I don’t observe it strictly.
Every time I add pasta and rice into meals, I start noticing a double chin and loose belly.
Also noticed I felt a lot more sluggish and sleepy after each meal.
Nowadays, I just buy whatever fresh greens are available, toss it in a bowl, and add a protein of my choice.
Usually this is pan seared chicken breast or lean pork as it is cheapest for me.
Also love it smothered in olive oil with a little salt and vinegar.
When I want to get fancy, I buy whatever herbs available to spice things up a little.
Super easy meal prep. So much cheaper too.
Makes me more alert mentally, physically, and comes with a lot more consistent energy.
For me personally anyways.
And since I enjoy it,
I just stick to it.
Not doing it for weight loss.
Just loving simple meals without the bloaty carbs.
I am South East Asian,
and this may not work for everyone I am sure.
So go with what works for you!

The first week is the hardest, just get through that part and don’t give up! I’ve been doing lazy keto where I don’t count anything and just eat the suggested foods and cut the bad ones. I’ve been practicing a bit of restraint when eating as well, but not so much that I feel deprived. I don’t work out (no gym here and I’m not one to do it at home). I’m steadily but slowly losing weight anyway. I definitely feel better. I’ve dropped a dress size in three weeks. I no longer get hungry so fast, no longer need to eat breakfast. I’ve realized that when I eat carbs they burn off really fast and cause cravings for more-so they become a self fulfilling prophecy that keeps perpetuating themselves forever. The more you eat-the more you need. And you need to eat them sooner. Did not know my diet is ketogenic. This is excaclty how I eat. High fat low carb diet with 20% protein. I always wondered why I dont gain weight ever. For past 20 yers my weight hasnt changed at all.
I did the keto diet while working out for four hours a day and the weight came off so quickly. None of my clothing fit. However the weight came quickly back. If you so much as look at a bowl of rice that’s 10 pounds gained.
