Dr. Gundry,I’m still staying good on my weight loss. After that,I ended up losing a few more inches. Your video teachings are still helpful. As of May of this year(2022),I have been living in South Carolina. Thanks for all you do.

Interesting about what the doctor says about tomato skins having the most lectins. Traditional Mexican cooking, originating with the indigenous cultures, involves sautéing the skins off of tomatoes and peppers. Somehow they knew.

  8. Spiritual Awakening says: July 28th, 2022 at 3:19 am

I love avocado with fresh tomatoes. Yum!

While I’m onboard with the principles here, this seems difficult for someone on a budget to achieve. Growing up on the lower end of the financial spectrum bread, pasta and cereal were go too foods. A diet based on things like avocados, pistachios and buffalo milk was out of the question. Does anyone have ideas for a budget-friendly, lectin free diet?

  16. Dr Gundry, would you recommend Impossible burger with lectin blocker as heart healthier than traditional burger from cow?

  17. Kim Fetterman says: July 28th, 2022 at 3:27 am

So, are tomato sauce and paste and crushed better?

  18. Bibliophile says: July 28th, 2022 at 3:28 am

I made sorghum pancakes from scratch. They turned out surprisingly good.

This is very common sense in the approach. But it is great to have someone to lead the way in telling us how. Thanks 🙏 Dr. For giving a simple format to follow. I have so far dropped 35 Lbs and with some tweaking (per your guidelines) I anticipate further loss and great health. Thanks!!

Fruits are good , they are not that bad. High fructose fruits or extremely ripened fruits are bad for people with IBS not for everyone. I have IBS so I avoid ripened fruits but raw mangoes and pickles with less spices that’s completely OK for me.

I’d like to give this a shot. However I don’t want to have to listen to 14 hours of lecturing before finding out what foods to eat, and what to avoid. Is there a place I can go to get to the point?

  34. Leon Leon says: July 28th, 2022 at 3:46 am

Hi Dr. Gundry. Can you eat plain unsweetened Greek yogurt? It is healthier than regular yogurt? The labels of some of them doesn’t have casein. Like the brand Fage.

Hi, I’m new here and am trying to loose 20 lbs that I gained during this last two years. I have heard about breads, etc., sugar and am actually allergic to gluten so I try not to eat it, but sometimes I do. After listening to you, I really am determined to try even harder to lose this weight. I was wondering if you have an opinion on black rice? I have heard it is healthier than other types of rice. Thank you and i love your videos <3 🙂

I just read this- cashew, almond, and pistachio plants are not true nuts, but are rather classified as “drupes.” Drupes are fruits that are fleshy on the outside and contain a shell covering a seed on the inside.

I follow this diet and I feel much better but the problem is that I lost even more weight and I was underweight before. Is it possible to gain weight on this diet ? If so, how ? Does anyone has same problem ? I eat pistachios, avocados, goat milk, dark chocolate, other fats but it’s not enough for me to gain the weight 🤷

  49. A high fruit diet is good…with a little NON hybrid vegetables is best
