Well almost all of the sour dough breads at the super markets are not pure, they have white flour incorporated in them, so still not good, the best is to make it from home, youtube it for the sour dough starters and so on.

Brownberry superior keto = 3 net carb
Brownberry also makes a hotdog and burger buns with low carbs.

In Japan, people buy convince foods and foods from vending machines, ALL NATURAL FOODS, why not here? People become sometimes over 100 years old.
Walmart carries a whole rye, new york style rye, the walmart brand. It agrees with my diabetes on limited use. Most other breads, spike me , along with any white. Potato chips and corn chips set me off real high on the glucose monitor. ihehehhaha

Mestemacher and Delba/Feldekamp are Pumpernickel & Dark Rye Breads without any sugar and pretty much pure fiber. It doesn’t affect your sugar at all. That’s the only bread my mom ate and she lowered her A1c so much that she got off any Diabetes medication for the rest of her life.
Brownberry and Sam’s Choice have Keto breads available in stores. I’ve boughten some, haven’t had most of the others to compare to. Have also had Carbonaut. No specific opinions, just saying those varieties are out there.
SMD: Now that I have to watch what I consume to fend off becoming pre diabetic I’m discovering the gross ambiguity in the marketing and labeling of food stuffs that I can “supposedly” consume. The realization I’ve come to is the public is being misled via marketing that certain consumables are healthy when in fact they are not and having to be an informed nutritionist or scientist to safely eat what is so freely and haphazardly marketed as healthy is criminal from my perspective! How about we consumers being educated early on from childhood about what is healthy to eat instead of later requiring significant modifications of what we’ve unknowingly been eating most of our lives? 😤
I’ve concluded that the overly heavily marketing of food stuffs that are actually unhealthy for consumption has a more nefarious agenda: to shorten our life span! 😡☠️. QUESTION EVERYTHING: What Is The Truth (WITT)??? 🤨. GYHOOYA: OYE!!! 🤑😱☠️
I am type 2. Sugars are in the 200 range and that is with meds, Metformin and Novalog fast acting insulin. Admit I do not eat right all the time. This will be my resolution for 2023. I love bread!
I love the 12 grains and seeds Oroweat bread. I cut one of the large slices in half to create a sandwich, using just one piece. It has 3 g of fat, 19 carbs and 3 g of fiber. Not wonderful stats, but it is very edible.
I bake my own bread from organic rye or wheat or mix those two. One loaf last about a week, I’ll keep it outside the fridge on my kitchen counter it never gets moldy or bad. Is that mean my bread is bad? Based on your explanation I should throw it away. Did I understood you correctly?

I found a lot of these breads mentioned being sold at Meijer. So if you have a Meijer store near you they have a lot of them. A couple in the freezer too.

I have tried the keto bread from Aldi and it is horrible. It doesn’t taste like bread should.
There is a 9 carb per slice bread you can get at food stores like publix. It runs out of stock fast so I grab 2 or 3 loafs and freeze them.
My local sells sourdough bread in 1/2 loafs. I use it for burgers, ham & seafood sandwiches.
I love so lo carb bread. It’s the best bread I have ever had. It’s made in Wisconsin.

Stop it !! I am a diabetic and a doctor. I see so many type 2’s putting pills in their mouth because they won’t control what they put in their mouth.
